Position: Parts & Warranty Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Parts & Warranty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department and managing all warranty-related processes. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient parts availability for service technicians, and timely, compliant submission of warranty claims to manufacturers. The manager serves as a key liaison between the service team, customers, and manufacturers, delivering excellent communication and support throughout the parts and warranty lifecycle. This position requires strong organizational and recordkeeping skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive in maintaining manufacturer and company warranty standards while driving efficiency in the parts department.

Key ResponsibilitieS

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control.
  • Manage all warranty claim submissions, tracking, and approvals with manufacturers.
  • Support service technicians by ensuring timely availability of parts.
  • Communicate with customers regarding warranty coverage, status updates, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage, sales, and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and company warranty policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in marine, automotive, or powersports parts/warranty management preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and manufacturer claim platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, sales, and management.
