POSITION OVERVIEW
Rt 113 Boat Sales is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our growing sales team. This role is responsible for managing the administrative side of the boat sales process, ensuring every transaction is accurate, timely, and provides an exceptional customer experience from purchase through delivery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working closely with customers, lenders, manufacturers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Administration
- Prepare and process all boat sale documentation from purchase through delivery.
- Coordinate financing paperwork with lending institutions.
- Process boat registrations, titles, and state documentation.
- Ensure all deal jackets are complete and compliant.
- Track outstanding paperwork and follow up with customers, banks, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate sales records within the dealership management system (DMS). Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Enter new boats into inventory upon arrival.
- Coordinate manufacturer invoices and certificates of origin (MSOs).
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Assist with ordering accessories and preparing units for sale. Customer Experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact during the sales process.
- Schedule customer deliveries and orientations.
- Coordinate delivery appointments with the sales and service departments.
- Assist customers with registration, warranty, and financing questions.
- Provide outstanding customer service before and after the sale. Marketing Support
- Create and update online boat listings.
- Assist with social media content and dealership marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate promotional events, boat shows, and manufacturer sales events.
- Ensure pricing, specifications, and photography are accurate across marketing platforms. Sales Team Support
- Assist sales consultants with preparing quotes and purchase agreements.
- Maintain CRM records and customer follow-up schedules.
- Generate reports on sales performance and inventory status.
- Order office and sales supplies as needed.
- Support dealership events and weekend promotions when required.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or dealership experience preferred.
- Experience in the marine, RV, automotive, powersports, or related industries is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with financing and title paperwork.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to climb into and out of boats multiple times throughout the day.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk the dealership lot as needed.
- Occasional weekend or evening work for sales events and boat shows.
