
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Coordinator is a vital member of the dealership team, responsible for supporting the sales department through efficient coordination, organization, and customer service. This role bridges the gap between customers, sales staff, service technicians, and management by ensuring that paperwork, scheduling, and communication run smoothly. From preparing quotes and contracts to coordinating deliveries and assisting with marketing initiatives, the Sales Coordinator plays a hands-on role in daily operations that directly contribute to the dealership’s success. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitieS
- Support sales staff by preparing quotes, invoices, contracts, and related paperwork.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with customers, service, and detailing teams.
- Support service technicians by ensuring timely availability of parts.
- Maintain and update customer records in the DMS system.
- Track incoming inventory and assist with showroom and online listings.
- Serve as a customer point of contact for scheduling, paperwork, and general inquiries.
- Assist with event planning, open houses, and promotional activities.
- Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with dealership policies.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and General Manager.
- Assist in creation of marketing materials.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales support, coordination, or administrative roles (marine, automotive, or dealership background preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with office software.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines
- Proficiency with adobe suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
